Seeking a well versed machining engineer to lead client driven custom product development and manufacturing projects from concept to delivered components. Shall: *** Assess designs for manufacturability *** Work closely with the internal machine shop, and external manufacturing suppliers to reduce costs and risk associated with manufacturing complex component *** Calculate production, labor, material costs and review production schedules *** Provide engineering support for capital equipment purchases, installation, maintenance and training. *** Interpret CAD drawings to develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machines Requirements *** Experience writing CNC programs for multi-axis machining *** Ability to design and interpret 2D/3D design and modeling software *** BS in Engineering Highly visible position with plenty of career advancing opportunites.
