Delta Hotels Minneapolis Northeast is seeking an experienced, full-time Restaurant Hostess for the Twin Cities 400 Tavern. The Twin Cities 400 Tavern is a unique restaurant concept that features the best Burgers, Pizza, and Full-Service Bar with 20 Specialty Beers on Tap. Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts Seat guests and maintain control of wait times Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving Answer restaurant telephone line with proper etiquette during assigned hours of operation Process Carryout and Delivery Orders Take Payments from Guests, including cash, credit card, and house charges Balance Register at end of shift, Handle cash in accordance with established cash handling policies. Qualifications: Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred Availability for AM or PM Shifts, available all days of the week Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements: Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners We offer an attractive benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), travel benefits, and other benefits.
