Sr Director, Market Access Strategy, Marketing, Analytics & Above Brand Strategy Location: Philadelphia, PA or Durham, NC Reporting to the VP, US Market Access Strategy, the Senior Director, Market Access Marketing, Analytics & Above Brand Strategy is a highly visible position within the GSK US Market Access team, responsible for leading a team to deliver Market Access Marketing, Strategic Analytics and Above Brand Strategy initiatives for all brands across the GSK portfolio.This individual leads a team focused on the development of strategies that align to key Market Access initiatives inclusive of customer facing tool and material generation, organized customer strategic support, brand level and above brand messaging, and deep diving market access strategic analytical needs for all brands in the portfolio. In addition, the team is responsible for training and organizational pull through of materials and contracts to field facing market access teams. Key external customers include Payors, PBMs, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Integrated Health Systems (IHS), large group practices (community and institutional based), and other ancillary care providers, among others. Key Responsibilities: Strong leadership skills and experience working with key market access stakeholders and senior organizational leaders. Develop and coaching of team members Lead the team in the development of best-in-class customer facing materials, tools and resources demonstrating product value to customers Lead the team in performing ad-hoc analysis of critical Market Access business questions utilizing multiple advanced data analytics approaches. Lead Market Access organizational in the development of Above Brand initiatives focused on customer needs Support the development, execution and pull through of strategies driven towards optimizing access with key organized customers Build and maintain a team with a focus of strong partnership with market access strategy, and cross functional collaborators across field teams, brand, finance and others to ensure key account strategic and tactical alignment. Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders to ensure enablers for key customer and environmental strategies are in place. Lead team to closely partner with all relevant stakeholders for tactical execution of contract strategies. Engage with all key stakeholders to effectively monitor current performance trends and inform on current/future state of business and action areas based on these assessments. Collaborate with key MA partners to inform brand and finance partners on trends impacting future forecast assumptions. Basic Qualifications: BS/BA, 7+ years relevant pharmaceutical or otherwise relevant experience Minimum 3 years of People Management Experience Travel Required: Yes, 10-20% Preferred Qualifications: MBA is preferred 5+ years successful market access, pharmaceutical analytics, or marketing experience. Multiple of these is a plus Experience leading teams who develop specific market insights and incorporate them into the brand/strategic planning process and/or customer facing resource development and strategy. Ability to combine data analysis with qualitative insights to identify and explain market access, brand, and above-brand drivers of business performance Proven ability to lead teams working on multiple projects with a high degree of initiative including project planning and prioritization of competing demands as well as individual coaching and development of team members Basic understanding of corporate finance fundamentals (gross & net sales, P&L inputs, gross margin, COGs, working capital, etc.) Experience with recommending and negotiating complex decisions within a matrix environment Seeks to continuously improve team's level of analytics and partnership with key stakeholders Experience hiring and managing third-party vendors Good understanding of best practices for development of customer facing Market Access resources Experience and understanding of US market access business dynamics and customer business models (PBMs, Health Plans, Providers, Pharmacies, Hospitals, Clinics, ASOCs etc.), mandated government pricing and US market access data analytics at a teach-it level Please visit GSK US Benefits Summary to learn more about the comprehensive benefits program GSK offers US employees.
