Below is a detailed job description:Job Overview:The Securities and Capital Markets Associate Attorney will provide legal support in securities offerings, capital market transactions, and related matters. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in transactional law.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to securities laws and capital markets regulations.Draft and review legal documents for securities offerings, including prospectuses and disclosure materials.Assist in due diligence processes for capital market transactions.Provide legal advice on compliance issues related to securities laws and regulations.Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients in negotiating and structuring transactions.Requirements:A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar Association of North Carolina.4-6 years of relevant experience in securities, capital markets, or transactional law.Proven track record of handling complex securities offerings and capital market transactions.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar Association of North Carolina.Skills:Strong understanding of securities laws and capital markets regulations.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Exceptional drafting and reviewing abilities for legal documents.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
