What you will do: Lead & collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive API strategy, design, implementation and monitoringHelp design API solution webservice solutionsDefine the API's features, security setup, internal/external onboarding process, scalabilityExperience with Hybrid multi-cloud (Mix of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & on-prem) applications, build the framework to drive reusability using API.Strong technical expertise for the creation of API guidelines - standard methodologies, authentication, authorization frameworks by adopting industry-standard methodologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in end-to-end API lifecycle from design, development, managementValidated expertise across multiple API platforms, gateways, APIs for government agencies (preferred) or large organizations (financial services domain preferred, and have defined Unified API Strategy, bringing standardization and API governanceLead API strategy/roadmap initiatives considering business objectives in coordination with Developers, Partners, Customers, Business UsersExperience driving the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance & managementExpert level knowledge in MuleSoft, CPIS, SAP APIM to include API proxies, mashups, rate limiting, security, analytics, monetization and developer portals.Experience with design, development, and deployment of SOA based architecture for a large organization demonstrating multiple COTS Business applications is preferred Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, XSLT, WS-*, SOA/Integration, and API Management technologies and standards Experience with using a JAVA IDE (Eclipse, Intelli J, Netbeans)Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBCProgramming Languages: Node.js, Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, Java Mail, JNDI, SOA, servlet, Struts, J2EE pattern Proficient in writing multi-threaded processes using MuleSoft APIs, Mule batch jobs, and Mule flows with Anypoint Platform Ways to stand out from the crowd: Have established API webservices for government agencies and financial services sectorPowered by JazzHR
