Description:

Principal Software Engineer, FactSet Research Systems Inc., Austin, TX: Manages a team of software engineers and/or projects within Engineering. Duties include: Review product requirement documents, write technical design documents, implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams. Provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation. Reviews code changes and submissions. Reacts to Market influences by reprioritizing projects on an as-needed basis. Ensures that all related systems are operating reliably and efficiently. Minimum requirements : Bachelor's degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and at least 7 years of software engineering experience. Must have experience with the following: data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming SAAS platforms such as Salesforce, VisualForce,.Net framework, C#, ASP.Net, WebAPI, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, IIS, JQuery, distributed architecture (client-server, multi-tiered), SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres. Must have full software engineering life cycle experience. Basic pay range: one hundred seventy five thousand dollars to two hundred five thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon. - Fri. 9-5).
