Part-Time Weekend Customer Service RepresentativePurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for JBS that reports out of our Corporate office in Greeley, Colorado. The schedule for this role is Friday-Sunday, 6:30am-3:30pm.Responsibilities:Ensure all loads arrive and depart to/from shipper and customer on time.Receive en-route check calls for load status, daily and at specific intervals.Respond and place phone calls to carriers, will be personable and precise on the phone.High phone usageUtilize various software programs to aide plant locations with carrier needs, and to view planned loads and identify problem areasWork and learn new business areas as needed to improve carrier on time delivery.Responsible for gathering information for sales and plant teams to problem solve.Sees all projects through to completion even when outside the scope of the department.Communicate the JBS guidelines to appropriate parties.Respond to emails on any discrepancies quickly.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent phone, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel.Prior experience in the transportation industry is a plus.Team player, ability to assist coworkers, detail oriented and extremely organized.Self-driven to learn and adapt quicklyTrustworthy, disciplined, ability to work in fast paced environment and focus with minimal supervisionAbility to quickly make informed decisions in the best interest of our customers and company Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Paid Time Off: sick leave and vacation;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; andBase salary of $21/hr; For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in states where it is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given position, compensation ranges are specific to those states and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.This position does not have an application deadline.
