About the role Procure to Pay is the supply chain hub for National Grid, processing $15B in payments each year, 34K purchase orders among many other services performed on behalf of all National Grid employees. What you'll do * Manage inquiries from stakeholders, providing support for questions related to contracts, purchasing, receiving, invoicing & payments, and other SAP processes.* Extract data and analyze data from multiple systems to support and optimize departmental goals, operational improvements and streamline processes.* Work with the management team to support ongoing development of end-to-end processes, to remove waste and increase value.* Maintain controls and monitor data to detect data quality issues as it relates to the Procure to Pay processes.* Ensure processes are being followed and documentation/job aids/procedures are current. Write new/improved procedural manuals for all affected departments as needed.* Develop and maintain effective relationships with the stakeholders to share best practice and translate business needs to provide advice and build bases of influence.* Ensures all work is performed in accordance with SLAs and metrics. What you'll need * A bachelor's degree in a Business-related area and up to 1-3 years of analytical or business support experience, or equivalent work experience* Strong analytical skills, using systems including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).* Ability to research, compile, coordinate, schedule, review, document, organize, verify data, conduct independent analysis, and identify inconsistencies.* Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities.* Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively across organization.* Ability to understand multiple relationships between different sources of data to generate easy-to-interpret reports and perform root cause analysis.* Reviews accuracy of own work and checks that all details are completed.* Knowledge of general accounting principles preferred.* Experience with ERP systems -- SAP experience preferred, with particular attention to Procure to Pay and Supply Chain What you'll get * Consistent growth potential and development* Competitive compensation package including robust benefits with an annual bonus.* Access to numerous wellness programs, employee resource groups, and community investment programs* A multitude of company-endorsed community programs to participate in* This role is hybrid office/remote, working within the National Grid service territory.Annual alary$67,000 - $79,000 a yearSalary commensurate with experience.This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
