Description:

Constant Power Technologies (CPT) is looking to grow our team. We are looking for UPS/DC Battery Installation to travel to different customer sites and perform UPS and DC battery removal, installation, testing, and maintenance in varying environments including; Data Centers, Mines, Telecommunications and Utility Companies. Technicians will be responsible for onsite activities under the supervision of the Lead Technician onsite. We are looking for reliable, trustworthy candidates that possess excellent communication skills and the ability to follow directions. Requirements Pass a background check.Working knowledge of Windows and associated programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to push and pull 100 lbs and lift routinely 50 lbs.Good attention to detail.Possess the ability to follow instructions and understand what is being communicated.Must be willing to work or travel at a moment's noticeGood hand eye coordination.Basic knowledge of hand tools.Ability to use a cell phone to order lyft/uber rides and manage job assignment flight details.Responsibilities Work in a team setting changing batteries at varying customer site locations.Perform battery testing, site audits, and preventative maintenance when applicable.Assist with tool management and gathering, ensuring all needed tools are readily available at the jobsite when needed.Perform tool audits to determine if/when tools need to be calibrated, repaired, or replaced.Assist with keeping tools organized and work trucks clean.Assist with loading and unloading semi trailers using a pallet jack or pallet walkie.Communicate with supervisor(s) any issues encountered on a job.Other duties as assignedPayment and Benefits CPT offers competitive pay and benefits. This position is an hourly, full-time position with shifts that vary site to site. Schedules typically run M-F with techs flying home for the weekend but can change depending on jobs and work load. Employees are paid travel per diem dependent upon jobs assigned. All flights and housing for travel are paid for and arranged by CPT for technicians. Per diem is for uber/lyft rides or airport parking and food while traveling. After 90 days employees are benefit eligible.
