The Senior Attorney will be responsible for conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and representing clients in court. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interactions with clients, lawyers, and business professionals. The role also requires producing high-quality deliverables, promptly responding to correspondence, and consistently meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in civil litigation, along with strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Duties:Conduct and defend depositionsManage case dockets efficientlyRepresent clients in court proceedingsCommunicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionalsProduce high-quality deliverables in a timely mannerAnswer phone calls and reply to correspondence promptlyMeet deadlines and perform assigned duties diligentlyEngage in both physical and sedentary activities as requiredPerform any other duties or projects assigned by the firm Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigationExcellent research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience handling multi-district litigation is advantageous Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Maryland Skills:Exceptional oral and written communication skillsEffective time management and organizational abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProficiency in legal research and writing techniques This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
