Job Summary: The Hospice Clinical Services Supervisor assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of Hospice services. Provides direct supervision to the clinical staff, including RN’s, LPN’s, aides, chaplains, social workers and Advanced Practice nurses. He or She is responsible for maintaining the quality of care provided to hospice patients. The Clinical Services Supervisor leads the frontline clinical staff and delivers excellent patient care. Haven Healthcare offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Competitive compensation Use of a company vehicle Robust benefits package including PTO 401k with company match Flexible schedules Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises all patient care services and personnel including RN, LPN, CNA, Chaplain, Social Workers, and Advanced Practice Nurses Ensures overall quality performance of the Hospice staff is maintained Demonstrate leadership in the guidance and retention of quality Hospice staff Review potential list from current Haven census are reviewed daily for viable referrals Provide skilled nursing services as needed; this includes initial evaluations for hospice services, routine visits, admissions, discharges, recertifications, or on-call visits as required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Current Missouri Registered Nurse license in good standing Preferred 3 years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year management/leadership experience Excellent communication skills with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, aides, chaplains, social workers, clerical, and management staff Ability to direct and motivate others Preferred recent hospice experience within the last 3 years As a Clinical Supervisor with Haven, you will support our core values of dedication to clarity through honest communication, being accountable and committed, doing what is right not what is easy, being forward focused, working in the same direction, and seeking personal and professional growth.
