The candidate should possess the following qualifications:Job Overview:The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support, conducting research, drafting documents, representing clients, and collaborating with colleagues.Duties:Conduct legal research, analysis, citation checks, and editingDraft letters, pleadings, and other legal documents as requiredPrepare answers to complaints, including affirmative defenses and counterclaimsProduce responses to discovery requestsReview and analyze pleadings, motions, deposition materials, and discovery responsesRepresent clients at trial and pre-trial events.Collaborate with paralegals on case management, including scheduling motions, depositions, and trial ordersMaintain law license by meeting all bar requirements, including CLE creditsUndertake special projects as assignedRequirements:0-3 years of relevant legal experienceMust be licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho or be able to obtain licensure within three monthsAdditional licensure in Washington State or willingness to obtain is advantageousExceptional attention to detailSuperior writing, research, and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent organization and time management skillsDedication to upholding the highest standards of the legal professionEducation Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of IdahoSkills:Legal research and analysisDocument draftingTrial AdvocacyCase managementCommunication and CollaborationBenefits Offered:Competitive compensation packageHealth insuranceVacation and sick leavePaid holidaysLicensing and CLE support
