Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Position SummaryMember of the Phoenix Site Leadership Team, responsible to oversee the Site Supply Chain Planning organization for the Phoenix Biologics Site to achieve a balance in finished product inventories to maintain and exceed customer service levels, maintain inventory targets, and minimize short dating of product. - Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) activity within the site, process discipline, consistent reviews of all planning metrics and KPI's. - Maintain the site Materials Planning process cycle and ensure raw materials, components, consumable replenishment plans align to achieving the site's plans. - Partner with Procurement to ensure materials are delivered to the site on time while achieving the site goals of cost control and working capital targets. - Develop and improve the Supply Chain Team's knowledge and capability while attracting and retaining the best Supply Chain Talent. - Reports directly to the Executive Director, Biologics Manufacturing Site Supply Chain.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute the site vision and define the Supply strategy for Production and Material Planning and Execution at the Phoenix siteRepresent Site Supply Chain driving transformation initiatives and deployment related to process, systems, and site expansion projectsRepresent Phoenix on the Biologics Site Supply Chain Leadership Team and Biologics Supply Chain Forums and Tier processLead and manage the site Production Planning & Scheduling process to provide the plant with timely production plans appropriately balanced for line and technology capacityResponsible for exporting all products per global regulations and guidelines, including the implementation and monitoring of a product pedigree programMonitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalation process -Maintain appropriate inventory levels to maximize customer service while minimizing stock-outs and product expirationsDirectly manage the coordination of shipments of non-finished goods through labeling, testing and final releaseLeads site level Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate cross functional and cross site activities such as API planning/procurement/warehousingAct as Planning and Supply Chain subject matter expert for site activities relates to new implementations or improvements to Supply Chain ERP systems such as Oracle and SAPOwn Site Master Data Governance process and accuracyLead and establish a culture of continuous improvement and process excellenceCoach, lead and mentor direct reports and build a highly capable team through the attraction, training and development of the necessary skilled professionals to meet business needsBuild a high performing team of skilled and talented planning professionals that can scale for growth along with robust succession plansStrengthen overall leadership and organizational capabilities related to Supply Planning and act as a mentor across the site organizationDemonstrated influencing and negotiating experience and capabilities in a matrix environment; role model the ability to partner across functions, build relationships and rapportEffective verbal, written and presentation skills, with ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of internal and external customers.Demonstrate strong bias for action and demonstrated effectiveness as a change agent for process improvementDemonstrate problem solving and conflict resolution skills.Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet project objectivesQualifications & ExperienceTo be successful as the Director of Site Supply Chain one should possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and supply chain management principles is essential. The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, work within a matrixed environment, and manage complex projects is critical to success in this role.Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, or a related field, Master's degree preferredAt least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Network Supply Planning or Site Production Planning, with minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in functional planning roles, leading a team in a regulated environmentSpecific experience in Materials Management in a manufacturing environment with multiple Supply Chain links is required.Knowledge of federal and local regulatory requirements such as FDA, DEA, DOT, MSDS, Health Department, FTZ, excise taxes, licensesExperience with Pharmaceuticals and Biologics Supply Chain strongly preferredExperience in project management and budgetingDemonstrated competence in understanding and managing regulatory changesProven track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams at or above SiteKnowledge of the industry and market trendsAbility to think strategically and creativelyStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong knowledge of SAP required, and knowledge of Oracle is highly desirableKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeWorking ConditionsFrequent visits to manufacturing and warehouse areas, in which the incumbent may be required to wear PPE to work in these environmentsRequires safety alertness due to work around hazardous equipment and conditions when in warehouse environmentInfrequent travel required, as determined by business needs#LI-HybridIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
