Summary of Responsibilities: Field Crew members are responsible for assisting the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator in day to day maintenance of playing field and stadium grounds to ensure playing conditions are safe for both players and coaches. This maintenance task also includes providing a clean, well maintained stadium environment for the fans to enjoy their ball park experience. ***This is a general interest posting. This job will be open to applications throughout th e 2023 season. Essential Functions of the Job: Perform tasks as assigned by the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator relating to game day preparation, batting practice, as well as pre and post-game maintenance Assist the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator in the covering of the field during weather related issues, including being on call when threatening weather could affect the outcome of a scheduled stadium event Help maintain landscaping and turf outside the stadium with the direction of the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator Assist stadium staff with in-game promotions when directed by the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator Help with any extra stadium events directed by the Director of Field Operations and the Field Operations Coordinator Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs. as needed Education and Experience Required: 1-2+ years of experience in industry and/or related field Ability to work well with others Basic Knowledge of turf grass and equipment usage Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task Education and Experience Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent 2-3+ years of experience in industry and/or related field Ability to work well with others with an emphasis on Managing employee tasks Expanded knowledge of the processes of turf grass and equipment usage Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
