Water Out in Fort Wayne, IN is looking for a talented full-time Shop Technician who can take charge of our shop and keep our drying and mitigation equipment in top-notch condition. This general labor position earns competitive pay of $15 - $20/hour, depending on experience. Each day, you perform minor maintenance work and cleaning on some of the most important equipment we use in our restoration services. You also stock our service trucks with consumables, chemicals, and equipment. Attentive to detail, you wash our fleet trucks and keep the shop area clean and organized. Working under minimal supervision, you shine in this position because you are a go-getter, and you realize what an important role you play. Because of you and your great organizational, maintenance, and cleaning skills, we can better perform for our clients. You make a real impact on our team! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SHOP TECHNICIAN High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., carry up to 50 lbs, and work at heights Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Availability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts Are you dependable and reliable? Do you have great communication skills, including the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of our organization? Can you efficiently manage your time as you perform maintenance, cleaning, and organizing in our shop? Are you a team player? If so, you might just be perfect for this position!
