The Material Handler maintains production by distributing raw materials to correct machines or workstations, and pulling products from workstations, and transporting them to the warehouse for placement by the Shipping/Receiving department.We are looking for an individual that can work under minimum supervision and communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and external customers. Previous experience in a Material Handling role within a manufacturing environment is beneficial. A forklift certification and proficiency in operating material/color blending equipment is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manually move supplies from one location to another and maintain records for all items moved. Locate materials and supplies, verifying materials and supplies pulled meet production order specifications, and stage workstations. Prepare finished products for shipping by identifying, pulling, and securing products. Assist in the molding area as requested by the direct supervisor. Monitor supplies and finished product inventory levels. Communicate supply or product shortages to the Materials Handling Supervisor. Utilize a forklift to move heavy supplies or finished products from one location to another. Operate material/color blending equipment and more!
